The Discipline of Law
I love philosophy, science, and music. As an adult looking for a job, though, philosophy was too theoretical, science too impersonal, and music too impractical. I eventually discovered the practice of law as a profession – I learned it was a calling that would allow me to think philosophically, investigate like a scientist, and perform on behalf of real people with real problems.
Practicing law allows me to use my strengths to help people, and I love finding creative solutions that allow people to tell their story their way.
Office Values
I take special pride in being accessible and flexible with my clients.
Many attorneys are either too busy or too distracted to timely respond to legitimate questions from their clients. I make sure that clients do not have to wait days (or longer) to hear from me. I understand that being involved in litigation is stressful, expensive, and complicated.
I also take pride in the craft of writing and going the extra mile for the sake of diligence. The Law is a nuanced and subtle thing, and presenting a superficial or incomplete view of case law or legislation is a dangerous, and, unfortunately, common problem for attorneys.
